Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Place chicken,onions,celery,all the spices and olive oil,sir frequently for 5 minutes. save the juice of the crushed can of tomatoes and add the crushed parts only, cover pot simmer for 15 minutes
  2. Add tomato juice and 5 cups water and lentils. bring to boil and simmer for 35 minutes.. drain garbanzo beans and add to the cooking mixture,bring to boil and cook for 3 minutes,add vermicelli
  3. And lemon juice. turn heat to low and cook till vermicelli is done
  4. About 10 minutes.
  5. Ladle into soup dishes and garnish with chopped cilantro leaves
  6. And little drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
