  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1/8 tsp of pepper
  • 1 tsp of chopped garlic
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 3/4 cup of shredded cheese we like the mexican mix but any kind will do

Directions:

  1. Mix meat, 1/13 of the instant potatos(dry) the egg the salt, pepper , garlic, milk and ketchup.
  2. Spread mixture into an ungreased pie pan
  3. Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes
  4. Prepare the remaining mashed potatos as directed on the box we like to make a little extra for a thicker layer.
  5. After the meatloaf has been cooking for about 40 minutes add the mashed potatos to the top at this point I like to add a layer of peas before I put on the potatoes
  6. Add cheese to the top of the potatoes and bake for another 5 minutes until the cheese melts.
