Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp cocoa (optional)
  • 1 tbsp butter or 1 tbsp margarine

Directions:

  1. Mix the first 8 ingredients well and put in a greased baking dish.
  2. Mix the last 3 ingredients and pour over batter.
  3. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350°F in a 2 1/2 quart casserole dish that has been sprayed with vegetable oil spray.
  4. Serve hot with ice cream.
