Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup yoghurt (to sour milk add 1tbsp vinegar or lemon juice to 1 cup. milk) or 1 cup sour milk (to sour milk add 1tbsp vinegar or lemon juice to 1 cup. milk)

Directions:

  1. Combine the first 6 ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Combine oil, egg and yoghurt/sourmilk in a separate bowl:.
  3. Add the liquid mixture to the first mixture using muffin mixing technique. Add raisins by stirring in gently.
  4. Put 1/4 Cup of the muffin mixture into muffin tins and bake at Bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes.
  5. Cool on a cooling rack.
