Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Beer bread, make ahead a day or so. It is the easiest breast and so easy. Besides you can actually buy a single can of guinness at almost every grocery store or liquor store. Me, I get a 4 pk and drink the rest.
  2. Basic Beer Bread - 3 cups all purpose flour (important - all purpose),1/4 cup sugar, 1 - 12 oz beer (guinness) dash of salt, seasoning - I like 1 teaspoon dried rosemary for this bread. Mix well and the bake in a seasoned and floured loaf pan. Bake 45-50 at 375.
  3. Onions and apples - I melt 1 teaspoon of butter in saute pan, add the onions and apples and cook until tender. About 3 minutes is all. Done. Just remove to the side.
  4. Pork - For the pork, use leftover, pork chops, or tenderloin sliced or even, roast pork just from the deli. Don't worry, anything will work just fine.
  5. Sandwich time - Slice up the beer bread already made. Top with the boursin or herbed cheese, then slices of pork, cheese slice, then the apple and onion mixture and cheese, then another slice of the beer bread also spread with the boursin cheese. Just spread on butter on both sides and grill. Grill until nicely toasted and melted. Enjoy!
