Ingredients:

  • 5 cups flour
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 package yeast
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup shortening

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients together, cover and refrigerate over night
  2. Roll out; cut (she cut them into squares) and let rise 1-2 hours
  3. Bake 350 degrees; about 15 minutes
