Ingredients:

  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 - 3/4 cup cold water
  • 3/4 cup vinegar
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic (depends on your taste, i use 1)
  • 1-3 tsp horseradish
  • jar of dill pickles

Directions:

  1. Remove pickles from jar and drain juice; leave whole or
  2. Cut pickles into rounds or spears and put them back into jar
  3. Mix all of the ingredients listed above together
  4. Put mixture into jar with pickles
  5. Let stand in refrigerator 1-2 days.
  6. Taste test the flavor for your likes, adjust accordingly with additional garlic or horseradish, or sugar if too zesty.
  7. Keep juice mixture in refrigerator and continue to add more pickles as needed.
  8. This mixture will last a very long time and can be used over and over again.
