Grandma Webster's Homemade Tomato Soup

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 (46 oz) can tomato juice
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 dash chili pepper ( mandy likes about 5 dashes!!)
  • 1 dash salt

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in saucepan. Add flour and seasonings. Stir. Add juice in a little at a time. Stir till lumps are out. I like to use a hand mixer to get lumps completely out and the soup is nice and creamy.
  2. Eat alone with crackers or it goes good with fish sticks or grilled cheese.
