Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups of sugar
  • 1 cup of oil
  • 1/3 cup of orange juice (* i have used simply lemonade in a pince amazingly delicous, apple does not work it does not have the little tang)
  • 3 tsp vanilla
  • apples: peeled and cut thinly length wise , 5-9 depends on size and how much apples you like i usually use 9 with any size, lol. the original recipe called for 12 apples

Directions:

  1. MIX THE WET INGREDIENTS
  2. MIX THE DRY
  3. ADD BOTH MIXES TOGETHER
  4. PREHEAT TO 350
  5. POUR INTO GREASED TUBE OR BUNDT PAN
  6. YOU CAN SPRINKLE THE GREASED PAN WITH MY CINNAMON IF YOU WISH.
  7. POUR HALF THE BATTER INTO THE PAN.
  8. MAKE A MIX OF 2 TEASPOONS OF CINNAMON AND 5 TABLESPOONS OF SUGAR.
  9. PLACE CUT APPLES ON DOUGH SPRINKLE WITH HALF THE CINNAMON SUGAR
  10. TOP WITH MORE BATTER
  11. SPRINKLE WITH REST OF CINNAMON SUGAR
  12. BAKE FOR 1 1/2 HOURS OR 2 KEEP CHECKING.
  13. **ONE DAY I HAD NO OJ, I DID HAVE SIMPLY LEMONADE IN MY REFRIGERATOR, IT WAS AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS. IT WAS LIGHTER AND FLUFFIER. EITHER WAY THEY ARE BOTH DELICIOUS.
  14. ** LAYERING THE APPLES YOU CAN SAVE SOME APPLES FOR THE TOP OF THE CAKE TOO. I DON'T ONLY CAUSE THEY SEEM TO DRY OUT SOME.
  15. **THIS CAKE IS SOOO GOOD
