Gooey Butter Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 (18 1/2 oz) box white cake mix
  • confectioners' sugar

Directions:

  1. Cream together cream cheese and butter.
  2. Add egg and vanilla, then cake mix.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until cookie dough is firm.
  4. Roll in 1 inch balls, then roll in confectioner's sugar.
  5. Preheat oven to 350*.
  6. Bake cookies on ungreased cookie sheet for 10-15 minutes or until cookies are slightly firm to touch.
  7. Wait a minute or two before removing cookies to cooling racks.
  8. Dust with confectioner's sugar.
