Gooey Butter Coffee Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 (16 oz) box lb cake mix
  • 1 (16 oz) box powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese softened
  • 1 1/2 tbsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300*
  2. Combine cake mix, 2 eggs, and the butter.
  3. Pour into a well-greased 8 x 12 baking pan.
  4. Reserve 2 Tbsp of sugar.
  5. Combine cream cheese, vanilla remaining eggs and sugar; mix well.
  6. Spread over batter.
  7. Bake 15 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven; Sprinke removed sugar on top. Return to oven.
  9. Continue to bake for 25 minutes.
  10. Serve warm or cool on rack.
