Goodbye Terrible Summer With Delish Rainbow Pudding!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pint water
  • 8 tsp gelatin
  • 6 tbsp hot water
  • 4 eggs

Directions:

  1. Prepare gelatin as per the pkt.
  2. 'sinstructions.
  3. Set in a bowl.
  4. Refrigerate.
  5. Do this a few hours prior to making the pudding.
  6. For vegetarians, this step can be omitted or Agar sticks can be used to prepare the gelatin.
  7. Mix condensed milk and the pint of water together in a saucepan.
  8. Seperate the eggs.
  9. Break egg yolks and pour into the milk.
  10. Put on low-medium flame and stir continuously till the mixture becomes slightly thick.
  11. Dissolve gelatin in hot water.
  12. Pour into the milk.
  13. Stir well.
  14. Remove from flame.
  15. Add essence.
  16. Allow to cool.
  17. Beat the egg whites separately.
  18. Add the well-beaten egg whites into the milk mixture.
  19. Mix well.
  20. Separate this mixture into 4 portions.
  21. Put different colours into each portion- say, pink, green, yellow, orange, blue, etc.
  22. Make sure to have one with chocolate powder because this tastes quite nice and your kids/ the little ones who have this pudding will love you for it!
  23. If desired, put in fruit essence for some portions.
  24. Now take the pre-set jelly bowl.
  25. Pour one (eg: pink colour) portion on it.
  26. Place it in the freezer for 3-5 minutes until it is set.
  27. Remove the bowl.
  28. Put another layer (eg:chocolate).
  29. Set it like you did for the first one.
  30. Then select the next colour, eg: yellow and finally the green colour.
  31. Once the top layer is also set, garnish with fruits such as pineapples, strawberries etc and cream.
  32. Refrigerate until its time to serve.
  33. If you keep it out for a long time, the pudding will melt.
