Ingredients:

  • 1 2/3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp clove
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 eggs

Directions:

  1. Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. Preheat oven to 325°.
  3. Sift dry ingredients together.
  4. Mix oil, water, pumpkin, and eggs together.
  5. Blend in dry ingredients.
  6. Fold in dates and nuts.
  7. Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
