Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 3 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp clove
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add molasses and water.
  3. Stir in all the remaining ingredients.
  4. Roll on a lightly floured board.
  5. Cut out 14 giant gingerbread men.
  6. Bake 350° til lightly browned.
  7. Sorry I can't remember how long that took as it was last christmas when I made these. Probably 15-18 minutes.
