Ginger Pear Crisp

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp gingerroot, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp butter, cut into bits
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 6 tbsp butter

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Toss first six ingredients together in a bowl.
  3. Pour into a buttered baking dish.
  4. Using a fork combine the remaining six ingredients.
  5. Spoon topping across pears.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until brown and bubbly.
  7. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
