Directions:

  1. Add potatoes and garlic to salted water (just to cover)
  2. Boil covered, till very soft
  3. Drain, but do not remove garlic
  4. Place back on burner till excess water is absorbed and potatoes are flaky
  5. Mash
  6. Add butter, mash
  7. Add milk, mash
  8. Stir in chives
