Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup currants

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300 then grease an 8” square pan.
  2. In a medium bowl beat butter and honey with an electric mixer on medium speed until creamy.
  3. Beat in eggs until well blended.
  4. Add flour mixed with baking powder and salt then beat until blended.
  5. Stir in raisins, coconuts, walnuts, currants and golden raisins and turn into prepared pan.
  6. Level surface then bake 45 minutes and remove to rack and let cool completely.
  7. Cut into 20 bars and sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
