Fried Stuffed Squash Blossoms

Ingredients:

  • filling
  • 1lb racota chz.
  • lg. pinch chiffonade basil
  • lg. pinch chopped parsli
  • 1 tbsp. minced garlic
  • wash
  • 2 cup ap flower
  • egg whites ( whiped to a froth)

Directions:

  1. In a sm. to lg .mixing bowl . mix together all the ingredients for the filling.
  2. Useing a tsp. or a Tbsp. gently stuff each blossom with filling and set aside
  3. In a med. to lg. mixing bowl. mix together flower egg whites and milk to disierd consistancy
  4. ( note: egg whites and milk parts will vary some)
  5. Drege stuffed blossoms in batter
  6. Gently drop blossoms into 350dagre fryer or into a med. to lg. stoke pot of cooking oil at same temp.( use care if in pot fill only about 1/2 way). Let fry till goldin brown( about 30sec.)
  7. Place on plate lined with paper towel to drayn off oil
  8. Place 2 blossoms on a side plate 1 on top the other
  9. Garnish with red souce and chives
