Fried Shrimp In Thai Chili Sauce

Ingredients:

  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup cornstarch
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 tsp. baking powder
  • oil for deep frying
  • 2/3 cup mayonaise

Directions:

  1. Season shrimp with salt and pepper to taste and let stand 20 minutes at room temperature.
  2. Combine eggs, milk, cornstarch, flour and baking powder.
  3. Heat oil in deep fat fryer to 350 degrees.
  4. Add shrimp to batter and coat.
  5. Deep fry 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. For sauce, mix mayonaise and chili sauce.
  7. Mix shrimp with sauce.
  8. Be careful, this is hot.
