Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup light cream , or whole milk
  • 4 slices white bread
  • 4 tblsp butter or virgin oil

Directions:

  1. Beat together the eggs, salt, sugar, & cream or Milk in a pie plate
  2. Dip the bread into the mixture
  3. Fry in the butter or virgin oil, until browned on both sides
  4. Serve with jelly, table syrup or cinnamon-sugar
  5. (my favourite topping is Maple Syrup when availible)
  6. Serves 2
