Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 tbsp finely chopped shallot
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 lb summer lettuces such as baby red oak, bibb, and baby romaine (12 cups total)

Directions:

  1. Whisk together oil, shallot, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a large serving bowl.
  2. Just before serving, add lettuces to dressing and toss to coat.
