Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. For a 11 cup bundt pan.
  2. Preheat oven to 325F.
  3. Butter and flour the pan.
  4. Crack and weigh eggs (about 6).
  5. Weigh other ingredients, each equal to the weight of the eggs
  6. Cream butter and sugar together.
  7. Beat in the eggs one at a time (This seems to get more air into the batter and it rises better).
  8. Mix in the flour until smooth.
  9. Spoon batter into pan.
  10. Bake 55-65 mins.
  11. If you want to make a smaller cake, take your baking form, put it on a kitchen scale, tare it to zero and fill it 3/4 full with water. This will give you the weight that the pan can hold with enough room for rising. Divide this weight by 4 and this is the weight of each ingredient you need to add.
