Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 lb fresh green beans , cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • black pepper (to taste)

Directions:

  1. Heat oil in large skillet or wok over medium heat. Add sesame seeds. When seeds start to darken, stir in green beans. Cook, stirring until the beans turn bright green. (I never notice a bright green color, I just cook about 10 minutes or so.).
  2. Pour in chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Cover and cook until beans are tender-crisp, about 10 minutes. (I like mine much more done - about 30 minutes!) Uncover and cook until liquid evaporates. You can serve these hot like normal, but I even like these babies cold! ;-).
