Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cut the potatoes in chunks and boil until tender; reserve half of the chunks and mash the rest with a little butter and milk.
  2. While the potatoes are cooking, cook ground beef and onions over medium-medium high heat.
  3. When the meat is cooked, drain the fat.
  4. Add the liquid smoke, worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and garlic powder (to taste).
  5. Take some of the potato chunks and make a bed of them in a buttered casserole dish.
  6. Spread the ground beef mixture over the top of the potatoes.
  7. Spread mashed potatoes on top of the ground beef.
  8. Cover with cheese and sprinkle with parsley flakes; bake for 10 minutes.
