Easy Caramel Frosting

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup. brown sugar , firmly packed
  • 1/4 cup. milk
  • 1-3/4 to 2 cup. confectioner's sugar , sifted

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in sauce pan.
  2. Add brown sugar.
  3. Boil over low heat 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Cool to lukewarm.
  5. Gradually add confectioner's sugar.
  6. Beat until thick enough to spread.
  7. Note: If icing becomes too stiff, add a little hot water.
