Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cut or tear doughnuts into eights.
  2. Prepare instant pudding according to package instructions.
  3. In a large bowl or trifle layer half of the doughnuts onto the bottom.
  4. Spread pudding over doughnuts.
  5. Spread half of whipped topping over pudding.
  6. Add remaining doughnuts and top with remaining whipped topping.
  7. Cover and chill at least one hour before serving.
  8. Note(s):
  9. This recipe works with cake doughnuts,honey buns,bear claws,crullers,etc.
  10. Almost any flavor of instant pudding can be used instead of vanilla.
  11. Nut lovers can add a layer of chopped pecans or walnuts and sprinkle them over the top.
