Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves

Directions:

  1. Cream butter; add sugar, then eggs.
  2. Combine flour, soda, cinnamon and cloves. Sift.
  3. Add nuts and dtaes.
  4. Drop on greased cookie sheet and bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes 8 dozen cookies.
  5. Store tightly covered.
