Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 0.5 (14 oz) package flaked coconut

Directions:

  1. Melt butter and sugar carefully.
  2. Add chopped dates and cook until it boils. Take off heat and allow to cool slightly.
  3. Add milk and salt into well beaten eggs and stir into hot date mixture.
  4. Boil mixture 2 minutes.
  5. Add vanilla and nuts.
  6. Let cool, then add Rice Crispies and stir.
  7. Butter hands, and shape into well rounded tablespoon size balls and roll in coconut.
  8. Store in air-tight container.
