Dark Chocolate Cherry Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups oatmeal, uncooked

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Cream butter and sugars until smooth. Stir in egg and vanilla.
  3. Mix together flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt.
  4. Mix into creamed mixture until combined. Stir in oats, then cherries and chocolate chips.
  5. Using a tablespoon, drop batter on parchment lined baking sheets. Flatten cookies slightly.
  6. Bake about 13 minutes.
  7. Cool cookies on wire rack.
