Crock Pot Hot Buttered Rum

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 sticks cinnamon
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 quarts hot water
  • 2 cups rum

Directions:

  1. Put all ingredients in a crock pot. Stir well. Cover and cook on high 2 hours, then turn on low for 3 hours.
  2. Serve from crock pot in warm mugs.
