Ingredients:

  • 1 (10 oz) fillet frozen catfish
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper , or to taste
  • 1/2 cup corn flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper (or to taste)

Directions:

  1. Heat Oil to 370 degrees
  2. Cut catfish fillets into strips (about a quarter inch thick)
  3. Put catfish fillets into a bowl and cover with cayenne pepper and garlic powder and set aside to thaw.
  4. In a shallow dish combine corn flour, salt and pepper
  5. Coat thawed out catfish strips in corn flour mix and fry until golden brown (about 3 minutes)
