Creamy Filled Brownies

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350* -
  2. Line a jelly roll pan with foil, grease the foil.
  3. In a small pan, melt butter, remove from heat and stir in cocoa till smooth -
  4. In small bowl, beat eggs, and gradually add sugar, beating till fluffy -
  5. In seperate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, and salt and add to egg mixture.
  6. Add cocoa mixture and vanilla and blend well.
  7. Stir in 1 cup of nuts -
  8. Spread batter in pan.
  9. Bake 12-14 minutes.
  10. Cool completely in pan on rack.
  11. Remove from pan to cutting board.
  12. Remove foil, cut brownie in half lengthwise,.
  13. Spread one half with creamy filling.top with second half - then drizzle with glaze.
  14. After glaze has set, cut into 24 bars.
  15. To prepare CREAMY FILLING:.
  16. In small bowl, combine 1 pkg cream cheese, 2 tbls butter and 1 tsp vanilla.Mix till smooth and add powdered sugar and blend well till fluffy.
  17. To prepare GLAZE:.
  18. In small pan, heat 1/4 cup sugar and 2 tbls water to boiling.remove from heat, add 1/2 cup mini chips.stir till melted.
