Cranberry and Orange Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups butter or 2 cups margarine
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 4 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup oats
  • 1 1/2 tsp orange zest

Directions:

  1. Cream butter,sugar and salt in electric mixer.
  2. Beat in egg yolks one at a time.
  3. Add vanilla.
  4. Gradually add flour to mixture.
  5. Mix cranberries, oats and zest into dough. Form 1 inch balls and flatten onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
  6. Cook for approximately 10 minutes at 350°F.
