Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of all-purose flour
  • 1/2 cup of nuts (chopped )
  • 1/2 cup of of packred light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of seedless and /or golden raisins
  • 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 tablspoon of unsweetened coco powder
  • 1/2 tsp of baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp of soda
  • (1) layer ingredients attractively in any serving into a 1- quart food storeage jar with tight- fitting lid. pack ingredients down sightly before adding each layer.
  • (2) cover top of jar with fabric; attach gift card with ribbon.

Directions:

  1. 1/2 CUP OF (SOFTENED) BUTTER
  2. 1 EGG
  3. 1 TEASPOON OF VANILLA
  4. 1 JAR OF COWBOY COOKIE MIX
  5. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES (LIGHTLY GREASE COOKIE SHEETS)
  6. BEAT BUTTER IN LARGE BOWL UNTIL SMOOTH. BEAT EGG AND VANILLA UNTIL BLENDED. (MIXTURE MAY APPEAR CURDLED.) ADD COOKIE MIX TO BUTTER MIXTURE. STIR UNTIL WELL BLENDED.
  7. DROP ROUNDED TABLESPOONFULS OF DOUGH 2 INCHES APART. BAKE AT 12-14 MINUTES OR UNTIL EDGES ARE LIGHTLY BROWNED. REMOVE TO WIRE RACKS TO COOL.
