Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups yellow cornmeal
  • 1/4 cup flour .
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 tbsp salad oil
  • 1 stiffly beaten egg white

Directions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients Add buttermilk oil egg yolk
  2. Fold in egg white. Let stand 10 minutes Bake on hot griddle
  3. Makes 16 4 inch pancakes. butter pancake pour syrup over them or Molasses. ENjoy.
