Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups yellow cornmeal
1/4 cup flour .
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
2 cups buttermilk
2 tablespoons salad oil
1 egg yolk
1 stiffly beaten egg white
Directions:

Mix dry ingredients Add buttermilk oil egg yolk

Fold in egg white. Let stand 10 minutes Bake on hot griddle

Makes 16 4 inch pancakes. butter pancake pour syrup over them or Molasses. ENjoy.
