Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup cornmeal
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 2 large eggs

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients in large mixing bowl.
  2. Combine until well-blended and smooth.
  3. Let batter sit for 5 minutes and rest.
  4. Pour 3/4 c.
  5. Of batter onto waffle iron, spread with rubber spatula.
  6. Let batter bubble for 5-10 seconds, then close lid.
  7. Repeat until batter is finished.
