Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup flour, plus more for dredging
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • 1 pinch dry mustard
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg

Directions:

  1. Mix together dry ingredients.
  2. Whisk in milk and egg.
  3. Insert sticks into hot dogs and dredge in flour. Then dip in batter.
  4. Deep fry in 365 degree vegetable oil until golden.
