Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup milk or 1 cup half-and-half (or half cup of each)

Directions:

  1. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and sugar.
  2. Cut in butter.
  3. Add milk.
  4. Do not overmix and pat into biscuit shapes.
  5. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes.
