Cool Rise White Bread

Ingredients:

  • 2 3/4-3 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp yeast
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 7/8 cup warm milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Measure your flour into large bowl and set aside
  2. Sprinkle yeast into 1.4 cup warm water in a 1 cup liquid measuring cup. Add 1/2 tsp. sugar; stir until dissolved. set aside.
  3. Measure warm milk, sugar, salt, and melted margarine in a sparate mixing bowl.
  4. Stir in 1 cup flour. Beat mixture with rotary beaters untill smooth
  5. Add yeast into mixing bowl
  6. Stir in Rest of the flour gradually. Make sure you have enough to make dough soft.
  7. Knead 8 to 10 minutes or until dough is smooth, elastic and no longer sticky.
  8. Cover dough with bowl
  9. Let rest for 20 minutes on board. Punch down.
  10. Shape
  11. Place in greased pan
  12. Brush surface of dough with oil
  13. Place pan in fridge
  14. Refriderate 2-48 hours
  15. Puncture any surface bubbles
  16. Let stand for 10 minutes
  17. Bake at 400 for 30-40 minutes
  18. Remove From pan immediately.
