Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Slice the smokies into 1/4 inch slices.
  2. Bring cider, brown sugar and beer to a low boil in a heavy sauce pan.
  3. Add smokies and boil for at least 45 minutes.
  4. Serve warm with toothpicks for picking up.
  5. The brine can be frozen to be used again.
