Classic Caesar Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 head iceberg lettace
  • 1 cup bottled ceacar salad dressing
  • 1 cup croutons

Directions:

  1. Wash the romaine lettace leaves and lay on paper towels to dry.Tear the leaves into bite- sized pieces and place in the salad bowl.
  2. Remove the outer leaves from the iceberg lettace.On a cutting board, cut the lettace in half.Cut out the heart in the center and discard.Lay the lettace halves flat side down on the cutting board and slice into 1/4 inch strips.Place in a colander to wash.Dry thoroughly.Add to the salad bowl and toss.
  3. Add the salad dressing to the salad bowl.Toss the salad greens with the dressing until coated.
  4. Arrange the salad on serving plates.Top each serving with 2 tablespoons of croutons.Serve immediately.
