Cinnamon Pecan Bars

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Beat egg.
  2. Combine next 5 ingredients, then beat in 1/2 of the beaten egg.
  3. Stir flour until fluffy and gradually stir into butter/sugar mixture.
  4. Stir in the nuts.
  5. Press this dough into 13 X 10 greased pan and brush the other 1/2 of the egg on top.
  6. Bake at 275 degrees for 1 hour.
  7. Cool for 10 minutes and cut into even-sized bars.
