Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 large apples
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Directions:

  1. Peel, core, and slice apples
  2. Melt butter over medium heat in saucepan
  3. Add apples and cook, stirring constantly until tender
  4. Dissolve cornstarch in water and add to apples
  5. Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon
  6. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally
