Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper (optional)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp milk

Directions:

  1. Sift together dry ingredients in a small bowl. In a large bowl, cream margarine and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg. Stir in flour mix and milk. Blend thoroughly. Chill 1 hour. On lightly floured board, roll out dough to 1/4 thickness. Bake until lightly browned at edges. Decorate with frosting.
