Chocolate Marshmallow Cake

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cups vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp cocoa
  • 1/2 cups buttermilk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 tbsp cocoa
  • 6 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows

Directions:

  1. Combine flour, sugar and salt in large mixing bowl.
  2. Combine butter, water, oil and cocoa in saucepan then bring to boil stirring constantly.
  3. Pour over flour mixture then mix in buttermilk, soda, eggs and vanilla.
  4. Pour into large greased jelly roll pan and bake at 350 for 27 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle with marshmallows and return to oven 3 minutes longer.
  6. Prepare icing by placing butter, cocoa and milk in saucepan and heat until hot.
  7. Do not boil then add remaining ingredients then pour over warm cake and serve.
