Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup light brown sugar , firmly packed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 3/4 cups m

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. In large bowl cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy; beat in egg and vanilla. In medium bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt; blend into cream mixture. Blend in nuts and coconut. Stir in M&M's.
  3. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls about 2 apart onto ungreased cookie sheets; flatten slightly with back of spoon. Bake 8-10 minutes or until set. Do Not Overcook! Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet and then transfer to wire rack to cool completely. Store in tightly covered container.
