Chocolate Hazlenut Baklava Rolls

Ingredients:

  • 1 jar nutella
  • 1 package frozen fillo dough thawed in fridge
  • 1 cup chopped hazlenuts (or whatever kind of nut you prefer, almonds are great too)
  • 1 stick of butter

Directions:

  1. Take fillo and cover with a damp towel
  2. Preheat oven to 375
  3. Melt butter in a coffee mug in microwave or grab butter flavored spray oil
  4. Place nutella in microwave for minute or so to melt and soften
  5. Pull out 1 sheet of fillo, brush butter evenly across fillo with a brush, or spray evenly with spray butter flavored oil
  6. Top with another sheet of fillo and repeat process until you have 6 layers total
  7. Spread top layer 1/3 jar of nutella and top with 1/3 of chopped hazlenuts
  8. Roll up into long tube, cut into 3 pieces and place pieces on cookie sheet
  9. Repeat 3 times until you have used all of fillo/nutella/hazlenuts
  10. Place in oven for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned
  11. While they are in the oven melt chocolate bar in a double boiler
  12. Add a little bit of cream or milk to thin just a tad
  13. When you pull out tubes drizzle with chocolate and serve
