Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Line a 9x5x3 loaf pan with platic wrap
  2. Crust
  3. In a small bowl combine amaretti and melted butter
  4. Press onto the bottom of the prepared pan; set aside
  5. The Main Attraction
  6. In a large bowl, combine chocolate hazelnut spread and Frangelico; set aside
  7. In another large bowl, beat whipping cream with an electric mixer on medium to high speed until soft peaks form
  8. Gradually fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture
  9. Gently fold in the 1/4 c chopped pistachios
  10. Spoon mixture evenly over crust, spreading evenly
  11. Cover and freeze for 8 to 24 hours
  12. To serve, sift cocoa powder onto a serving platter. Invert semifreddo onto platter; remove plastic wrap
  13. If desired, sprinkle with additional pistachio nuts
  14. Slice with a serrated knife
