Chocolate Hazelnut Corner Cookies

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In medium bowl, mix powdered sugar, butter, vanilla and egg with spoon.
  2. Stir in flour and salt.
  3. Divide dough in half.
  4. Stir cocoa into one half of the dough; stir 3 Tbs. hazelnuts into the other half of dough.
  5. Roll half of each dough on waxed paper into 11 x 17-in. rectangle.
  6. Place hazelnut dough on cocoa dough; peel off waxed paper.
  7. Roll doughs together to 3/16-in. thickness.
  8. Roll up rectangle tightly, beginning at 11-in. side, using waxed paper to help lift.
  9. Pinch edge of dough into roll to seal.
  10. Wrap in refrigerate at least 4 hours until firm.
  11. Repeat with remaining dough.
  12. Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
  13. Cut rolls into 1/4-in. slices.
  14. Cut each slice into fourths.
  15. Place pieces 1-in. apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  16. Bake 5 to 6 min. or until set.
  17. Immediately remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
  18. Cool completely.
  19. Dip curved edge of each cookie into melted chocolate, then dip into chopped hazelnuts.
  20. Place on waxed paper until chocolate is firm.
  21. Store in tightly covered container or freeze.
